WHAT IS A POWER OF ATTORNEY ('P.O.A')?

1. A P.O.A is a legal document that allows you (you are called the ‘Donor’) to legally authorise and empower another person to act for you for specific matters. You are called the ‘Donor’ as you are legally granting another person the power to do specific tasks on your behalf.

2. The person appointed by you (called the ‘Donee’) has the legal power to do and perform the specific matters stated in the P.O.A

3. For example, if you are buying or selling or renting out a property and would like to entrust someone else to act on your behalf, you can sign a Power of Attorney (P.O.A).

WHY DO I NEED A P.O.A?

1. A P.O.A is useful if you work overseas or travel a lot, or you cannot be in Singapore to handle your legal matters in selling, buying or renting your property

2. A POA is also useful when you prefer to entrust someone else to act for you or represent you.

PRIVATE PROPERTY $280.00 Includes GST & all expenses*+
HDB FLAT $190.00 Includes GST & all expenses*+

The above cost is applicable if you sign the P.O.A. in our office.

* Excludes Courier Charges (if applicable)
+ Terms and conditions including but not limited to you providing all relevant and correct information to us, payment of our costs before or at the time of signing of P.O.A, arrangement of appointment at our office suitable to you and our lawyers and staff.

HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?

Payment of our costs must be made at the time you sign the P.O.A.

Payment mode: Cash Only.

We can prepare the P.O.A in about 1 hour* if all relevant and correct information is given to us.

  1. Particulars of Owners of Property (known as ‘the Donor’).
    Name (as in Identity Card / Passport)
    Identity Card Number or Passport Number
    Address
  2. Particulars of Person (s) you are appointing to act under P.O.A (known as ‘the Donee’).
    Name (as in Identity Card / Passport)
    Identity Card Number or Passport Number
    Address
  3. Full Address of the Property concerned.

WHAT TO BRING WHEN YOU SIGN YOUR P.O.A?

Please bring:

    Your identity Card (s) or Passport.

    Photocopy of Identity Card or Passport of the person(s) appointed by you
        (called the “Donee”)

    Full payment by CASH
